In Memory of Julie Taylor
The LAPM family mourns the loss of our dear sister in Christ. Julie Taylor, counseling resident, died unexpectedly on October 30, 2008 at the age of 28. Having joined LAPM in June, 2007, Julie faithfully served many people during her ministry at LAPM and was in LAPM's first graduating class (2008) of counseling interns. Julie had a passion for helping people… especially individuals preparing to serve the Lord in ministry.
Julie, a devoted Christian, lived boldly for the Lord. She received a master of divinity and a master of arts in counseling degree from Covenant Theological Seminary. She previously served as youth intern at the Farina First United Methodist Church, and later as youth director at the O'Fallon United Methodist Church. Julie was a missionary to Turkey for one year before continuing her education at Covenant, later returning for a summer missionary internship.
You are invited to be a part of her legacy…
"All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself
through Christ and gave us the ministry of
reconciliation: that God was reconciling the
world to himself in Christ... And he committed to
us the message of reconciliation."
